Valar Morghulis

This is an original RP. We have many characters from the ASOIAF fire series that we love. However, this is restricted to original characters. No major canon characters will be allowed, but the lore may reference canon characters. Feel free to use whatever inspiration you wish, just please make original characters.

Characters can be created at will. Feel free to begin crafting whatever character you like. However if it is one of a particularly powerful or large family, check in with one of the hosts. Certain houses may become restricted to prevent the overabuncance of one family or of characters on a particular political side. Bastards, Maesters, ect can be created at will. All characters will require approval before play, thiis is to keep the play within the bounds of the created world.

Positions of power such as Lords of Houses, and higher may be casted to prevent storyline issues later on.

Magic exists in this world. We love magic, prophecies and visions! We also love seeing them played well. Hence, these things will be potentially also casted if we are unfamiliar with you. These things may be expected to be develop over time. IE: A warg does not immediately know how to warg into an animal. It starts off gradually.

On that same line of that. Magic needs to fit the world. Visions are not easy to understand and prophecies are cryptic. Please keep in mind how these affect your character. If you have a character that has visions, they should interpret some incorrectly. Magic is not a common thing, and for a time will not be strong. Please keep in mind the background needed to play magic, blood magic is brutal and more common, requires experience.. Flame magic is oft wielded by followers of the Red God, Green Sight is exceedingly rare, and dragon dreams occur only to those of dragons blood.

Items. Valyrian steel exists. It is very rare, so not all characters will have it. Your character may start with it, if the setting allows. For example, a Mormont carrying Longclaw, or a Stark carrying Ice. Over time you will be given the opportunity to engage in storylines to obtain it. Please keep in mind what other rare items exist and ask approval before placing them in play.
